Today’s focus: absence management and best practices to stay present, even when something unexpected happens.
Topic 1: Absence Rules
- Rules are in your member section. Key points:
- At 5–6 absences, or 4 in a row, your group board is informed.
- Goal: understand, not punish.
- Meeting forms are our only official info. Always record: present, absent, replaced, and why.
Three common cases:
- Leaving the group: No news from the member → inform us → removed from group (membership stays).
- Sick leave/accident: Example: car accident. Member can remain; mark “replaced – illness.”
- Last-minute absence: Still note it in the form.
Topic 2: Using a Replacement
- Can be a colleague, contact, or GR member from another group.
- Non-members: only once.
- If replacement doesn’t show, absence counts for you.
- Good practice: set agreements with trusted GR members from other groups for reliable coverage.
