Today, we will talk about why it’s important to have a substitute to keep your visibility, and about the return of the Club du Vice-President. Can’t come to your group meeting? Make sure you have one or more people who can take your place and talk about your business when you are not there. When YOU are not at the meeting, your substitute can speak for you. They help keep YOUR business visible to the group. If the person has a business that is NOT already in the group, and there is an open spot, they can also talk about their own business later. It is best to register your substitute BEFORE the meeting. This helps the group prepare for their visit and give them a warm welcome. It keeps the meeting professional and respectful for everyone. To sum up: a substitute talks for you first and can also share their own business if there is a free seat and their type of business is not already in the group. Good tip: visit other groups and find people you trust who can replace you. You can also offer to be a substitute for others. It’s a great way to make new contacts and show your skills.
