🎥 Live from Paris with our GR Paris 1 member, Daniel Fournier
Welcome to everyone interested in the world of professional networking! Today, live from Paris, we’re sharing a few important reminders to help you make the most of the GR International experience, with insights from our dedicated member, Daniel Fournier.
1. Register before attending!
Attending a meeting starts with a crucial step: registering as a visitor. This simple action allows the team to welcome you properly, integrate you smoothly into the group, and ensure a seamless and enriching experience for all participants.
2. A matter of respect and professionalism
When visiting an established group, it's essential to check if there’s already an active member in a similar sub-category to yours. If so, the rule is clear: avoid any confusion or competition. During your one-minute presentation, one sentence is enough:
“I see your group is already well served in my field.”
There’s no need to add anything further. Do not display your logo or any promotional material — whether in a virtual background or on your attire or accessories. This maintains a respectful, neutral, and professional atmosphere.
3. Open house events: a unique opportunity
During an open house meeting, the energy is different! It’s the perfect time to fully introduce yourself. You’re encouraged to showcase your business, display your logo, and use your one-minute pitch to make an impression. However, even in this festive context, pre-registration is still required.
💬 Thank you to Daniel Fournier for his involvement and great example of professionalism within GR Paris 1!
